Description

The monitor or electronic viewfinder of a camera may contain constantly lit bright pixels or black pixels if the pixels do not light at all. This is a characteristic common to all TFT LCD displays such as LCD monitors and laptops, it does not indicate a malfunction with the camera. Once images have been downloaded to a computer, the pixel will not be visible in images displayed on the computers screen or when printed.

An example of a pixel that is constantly lit green on the cameras LCD is illustrated in the image shown left. The pixel has been highlighted with a red circle
